Baptism
Dying and rising with Christ in whom we live and move and have our being, we are called, anointed, and sent forth to profess our faith in Christ to all people. The Sacrament of Baptism joyfully celebrates the entrance of new members into our Catholic community. Baptisms are celebrated at any of the weekend liturgies or by appointment, following preparation of the parents. Baptism for adults takes place through the RCIA process. First Reconciliation

Each year the parish community invites children in the second grade (and older children who have not yet celebrated these sacraments) and their families to the celebration of these two sacraments. The children prepare for these sacraments through the religious education program for two years prior to their reception of the sacrament. Penance
No matter which name we use to describe it, this sacrament of healing and love provides us with the grace of God’s compassionate mercy and forgiveness, and assists us in overcoming sin and accepting the Gospel. The sacrament is offered through celebrations during Advent and Lent, on Saturday mornings at 9:30 am or by appointment with the priest.
Confirmation
“By the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.” Confirmation is offered to adults through the RCIA process, and annually to our 8th grade students. As with the other sacraments of initiation, preparation is involved.
Couples should contact the priest or deacon at least six months prior to the proposed wedding date and before any other arrangements or plans have been finalized, in order to begin the preparation required to be married in the Catholic Church.
Marriage
In this sacrament, our parish continues Christ’s ministry of making whole the members of our community who suffer physical or emotional ills. Parishioners planning to enter the hospital are encouraged to receive this sacrament prior to admission. Parish housebound ministers will visit hospitalized or housebound parishioners when notified. Anyone wishing to receive this sacrament may contact the parish office. We offer this sacrament at a designated Mass duringboth Advent and Lent.
